Career & Expertise

Moritz Müller-Roden advises and represents clients in both trademark law and patent law. As a mechanical engineer (RWTH Aachen University), his technical focus is on mechanical and plant engineering as well as electromobility. Due to his technical specialization in the field of production engineering, he also advises on patent applications in the field of sensor and automation technology.

In addition to his time at the Chair of Production engineering of E-Mobility Components (PEM) at RWTH Aachen University, Mr. Müller-Roden gained international experience in the field of lightweight construction and aircraft construction before entering the field of intellectual property law.

Mr. Müller-Roden is licensed as a german national patent attorney and representative before the European Patent Office and represents clients in application and litigation proceedings. He is also active as a mentor for start-ups, helping to focus young companies on the protection of their intellectual property.

In his free time, he restores old espresso machines (thermodynamics, control technology) and photographs landscapes, preferably mountains.
